Remove moss and thatch so air, water and feed reach the roots and your lawn grows back thicker.
Over time moss and dead grass (thatch) build up and choke your lawn. Scarifying rakes it out so the grass can breathe again. Combined with aeration, overseeding and feeding, it is the single best thing you can do for a tired, spongy or patchy lawn.
Drag to compare: the kind of result you can expect from our scarifying.
Tackles the root cause rather than just covering it up.
New growth fills in quickly once the thatch is gone.
Water soaks in instead of sitting on the surface.

FAQ
Early autumn (September to October) is ideal, with spring (April to May) a good second option. The grass is growing strongly and there is enough moisture for it to recover.
Yes, it is completely normal for a lawn to look thin for two to four weeks afterwards. With overseeding and a feed it comes back much thicker than before.
Most lawns benefit from a scarify once a year. Lawns with heavy moss may need two light passes in the first year.
